Rosa 'For Your Eyes Only' (registered cultivar name: Cheweyesup) is a groundbreaking, award-winning Floribunda / Persica Hybrid Rose bred by Chris Warner in the UK. It made waves in the horticultural world by winning the prestigious RHS Rose of the Year award in 2015. It is highly celebrated for its exotic, hibiscus-like appearance and its phenomenal, non-stop blooming power.

Key Characteristics

Classification: Hulthemia Persica Hybrid / Floribunda. It is the result of over 30 years of selective breeding to cross standard roses with Hulthemia persica, a wild, desert rose native to Central Asia known for its distinct central blotch.

The Blooms: Large, wide-open single flowers (5 petals) featuring a unique tricolour blend of dusky pink, salmon, and warm apricot. The defining feature is the prominent, contrasting dark maroon-red central "eye" or blotch, surrounding a bright ring of golden stamens.

Fragrance: Carries a lovely, delicate, and refreshing light-citrus or lemony scent.

Flowering Habit: Incredibly free-flowering. It kicks off very early in the season and flushes continuously from May/June right up until October or November if the autumn stays mild.

Growth & Size: Formulates a neat, compact, and highly symmetrical rounded bush. It reaches an ultimate height and spread of roughly 90 cm x 90 cm (3 x 3 feet).

Foliage & Wildlife: Dressed in exceptionally glossy, clean dark-green leaves boasting superb built-in disease resistance. Because of its wide-open, single-petal design, it is a certified RHS Plants for Pollinators choice, making it highly attractive to bees. It also develops striking ornamental red rosehips in autumn
