The Rosa 'Nostalgia' (also registered under the breeder code 'Taneiglat' or known across mainland Europe as 'Nostalgie') is a striking, highly celebrated hybrid tea bush rose. It was bred by the renowned German nursery Rosen Tantau and introduced in 1995. It remains an absolute favorite among UK gardeners and holds the prestigious Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Award of Garden Merit (AGM) for its outstanding beauty and reliable garden performance.
Key Characteristics
Blooms: Produces large, shapely, heavily double flowers with an eye-catching, unique bi-colour scheme. The heavily frilled petals are a clean, creamy vanilla-white in the centre, broadly edged with a vibrant cherry-red or strawberry-pink margin.
Size: Forms a neat, compact, and strongly upright bush reaching an average mature height of 80 to 100 cm (2.5 to 3.3 feet) and a spread of about 60 cm.
