What a journey that was!
The Bard’s Tale is hands down the funniest game I’ve ever played! Now,
I know “Laugh Out Loud” is a bit of a cliché these days, but to be honest, most things don’t really make us laugh out loud—we just use it to mean something was a little funny. But this game? It literally made me laugh out loud! I gawked, snorted, chuckled, giggled, and basically made a lot of other noises while playing.
No other game I’ve ever played was as funny as this one. Using Carey Ewles (who, unlike other actors, has an English accent) was a stroke of genius. He adds a level of comedy that no other game can match. And as for the game itself, it’s actually a lot of fun. The songs were hilarious!
